Matt’s Profile

Matt is a Shareholder in the firm’s Huntsville office and is a member of several practices in the Litigation section at Maynard Cooper.

Matt has broad experience in both trial and appellate courts (federal and state) and in alternative dispute resolution forums handling disputes involving complex commercial, real estate, intellectual property, securities and corporate governance, civil rights, and government contract matters. In addition to his trial practice, he assists clients at every stage of the business cycle through all aspects of structuring, negotiating, and documenting transactions and counseling business owners, advises clients on the finance, acquisition, development, lease, and disposition of real estate and land use regulations and restriction affecting real estate, and creates strategies for clients to obtain, protect, and commercialize their intellectual property.
