Josh Hess serves as an associate in the firm’s Insurance and Financial Services Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on a variety of complex insurance-related matters, including insurance litigation, class actions, antitrust litigation, unclaimed property audits, and anti-fraud compliance. Josh has represented clients in matters pending in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas and Wisconsin.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and was a Hugo L. Black Scholar. During law school he was a member of the 2013-14 Campbell Moot Court Board. In 2013 he was a semifinalist in the 2013 Campbell Moot Court Board competition. He also was Articles Editor for the Alabama Law Review.
He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Clemson. Prior to joining Maynard Cooper as an associate he was a law clerk for the Firm.
